Here’s a nifty little trick that not everyone knows. Have you ever been viewing something on your iPhone or iPad and just wanted a quick way to save what you are seeing?
You can take a very high resolution picture (snapshot) of your iPhone’s or iPad’s screen very easily. When I say easily, it does take a little bit of practice and coordination.
All you have to do is hit the “Home” and “On/Off” buttons at the same time. When you do it properly, you will see a quick flash and a quiet camera click sound.
Then go to the “Photos” app and “Camera Roll” on your iPhone or “Saved Photos” on your iPad to see your saved picture.
In some apps you can simply hold your finger to the screen and an option to “Select” or “Copy” will appear. But in other apps holding your finger to the screen will not do anything. This little trick, holding the “On/Off” and “Home” buttons at the same time will work on almost every screen, including games, Flipboard, Facebook, and even during a movie.
Keep this in mind, you’ll never know when it will come in handy.

Battery life is, consequently, unaltered, with Apple promising 10 hours. The iPad 2 is 33 percent thinner than its predecessor, at a mind-melting 8.8mm, and a little lighter at just over 600g, while paintjob options have been expanded: you’ll get a choice between white and black.
